About the work
This classical bust portrays Alexander the Great, the Macedonian king and general. It shows heroic Greek features, curled hair and sculpted armour. The bust is designed for studies, libraries, offices and collector shelves.
Three finishes are offered: marble optic, bronze optic and full colour. Marble optic and bronze optic describe the painted surface only; the bust is resin, not stone or metal. Heights are 15, 25 and 40 cm, about 6 to 16 in, so every size fits a shelf, desk or display cabinet.
Each bust is produced to order. The bust's digital model is prepared for the chosen size and then printed in resin. Supports are removed, the surface is sanded and the form is checked; the finish is then applied by hand. Small variations in colour and surface between pieces come from the hand finishing.
