About the work
This baroque Marian statue shows the Virgin Mary with three angels. She wears flowing ivory robes and a deep blue mantle with gold-tone trim, above a base of clouds and roses.
In hand-painted resin, the Atelier Edition is made at 25, 40, 60, 80, 100, 140 and 180 cm, about 10 to 71 in. A life-size version with a 233 cm Mary, about 92 in, is open only to members of the Collectors Circle. The configurator also lists a hand-painted wood version from 100 cm. The Monumental Edition in PETG+ covers 120, 140, 160 and 180 cm. The 25 and 40 cm sizes fit a home altar; 60 and 80 cm a living room; 100 cm and above suit a chapel or church.
Each size is printed from a digital model prepared for that height. Supports are removed, surfaces sanded and checked, and large figures are assembled from several parts. Primer, glazes and gold accents are painted by hand.
- Hand-painted. Every figure is finished layer by layer in the atelier.
